  • Currently enrolled at Berklee, Boston Conservatory, Boston University, Longy, or New England Conservatory

  • Online Application and Non-refundable $50 Application Fee Must Be Received by October 31, 2025.

Open to any flutist enrolled in a degree program and studying flute at one of the following schools during the Fall 2025 semester:

Two pieces are required for the preliminary round, however, performances may be shortened based on time.

Students will perform the works in the order listed above - Fumet OR Liebermann, followed by the Bach.

Photocopies of music will be allowed in the preliminary round for 2025 due to delivery issues with the publishers.

Each finalist will be given 30 minutes to program.

3) Finalists have the choice to program any unaccompanied work they chose. The 30 minute time limit should be considered when selecting the unaccompanied piece. The time limit will be strictly adhered to during the performances.

Finalists must provide their chosen repertoire to the Competition Coordinator for approval no less than 4 weeks prior to the competition date. Those who miss the deadline may forfeit their position as a finalist in the competition.

Finalists must perform from original copies of the music - no photocopies will be allowed.
